How much does it cost to play?

We are a non for profit organisation that works hard to minimise our fees with an attempt to make it affordable and get as many players on the basketball court as possible. Fee's are adjusted year on year, but as a guide Winter 2022 season fee was $230 / player. Fee's are paid upfront before the start of the season at the point of registration. We have many expenses including equipment, court hire, awards and trophies and season wind up and East Perth Basketball charges.

What are the requirements in order to coach a team?

We are always looking for parents, family members and senior players to put their hand up to coach. A working with children check is required for adults without a child on the team. Morley Rockets has held coaching clinics to help new coaches on strategies to assist. Get in touch if you are intested, we would love for you to join our basketball family.

What does a team manager do in a team?

Each team is allocated a manager to assist with the day to day running of the team. Typically, they would take on the following:

It is not the job of the manager to score each game. There is an expectation that scoring is done by a parent each week. There will need to be a representation of each team on the scorers bench every week.
